At MozFest 2011 I became involved with the manual as a contributor. We aimed to provide a one-stop shop for mostly self-taught data journalists to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and allow newsrooms across the world to become more ‘data-literate’.

The book can be purchased from O’Reilly, and is also available free under a CC BY-SA 3.0 licence here.
